Customer Review: “I purchased this scooter about a month ago and am totally satisfied. The quality is outstanding. I am 6 foot at 295 lbs. the scooter is perfect for use at the mall, supermarket or anywhere where you have a smooth surface. The batteries are outstanding and provide good travel distance. It has plenty of power going up hills etc. I like how easy it comes apart. I found it a little tricky hooking the rear section back on during reassembly, but no big deal. I would not recommended this scooter for use around the house unless you live in a big house due to its turning radius. The three wheeled model would be a better fit for use inside. The four wheels provide outstanding stability. The forward and reverse control is easy to use the hand tiller is sturdy and easily adjustable. If mobility is a problem for you than you will love this scooter. I can finally join the family again at the mall or even cruising the neighborhood. I have a Honda fit and a KIA soul. Instead of taking the scooter apart I just remove the battery pak, lower the tiller and remove the seat. It fits perfectly in the back of the car with 1/2 of the cars back seat down. If possible I would give it 6 stars.Update 5/24/19 Still working fine all aspects. Only 1 complaint so far. I didn’t notice until about a month later after purchase but there is a handle under the front end that was damaged during shipment. Been online and the phone with Drive support and still have not received the replacement warranty part always out of stock I feel i’m getting the runaround poor customer service removing 1 star. update::::::::: added 1 star. After 2.5 months I got my part and it is the right one. Still love this scooter just wish customer service could be faster shipping a part. If it was a part that left me with no scooter that would be bad. Overall nice product.”

Customer Review: “First off, this is a great scooter.I bought this scooter after major leg surgery to take with me when I moved from Florida to Georgia. My mother was able to assemble it on her own in about an hour. The scooter is heavy when it is put together but if you take the battery and seat off it becomes a lot more manageable. My mom and 14 yo brother were able to get it in and out of the back of our van relatively easily. I brought this scooter with me to Disney World and it did an awesome job getting me through the parks. I’ve never had the battery die, even after a full days use. I don’t think I’ve ever even seen the battery drop bellow 50% charged.I have also taken this scooter to the lake and it did great going up and down hills, over dirt roads and even through grass when needed. The scooter is easy to control, can go faster than a lot of other scooters, feels stable and holds a good charge.The only time I’ve had an issue was when I was going up a steep hill in the scooter. The scooter died suddenly and stopped midway up the hill, however the scooter didn’t slide backwards, so I was safe. I took the keys out and waited for a while, maybe 10 mins, then turned the scooter back on and it was working again. I think the hill was just a bit too steep.My leg was in a straight leg brace and I was able to keep it straight in the scooter. I am 6 feet tall and my foot hung a bit off the front of the scooter but it didn’t bother me or cause any problems for the scooter. There was plenty of room for my other leg so if you are tall and can bed your knees I think this scooter will work great for you.This scooter is just as high quality as scooters three times the price.”

I have an opinion that th heavy 3 wheel Rascal is the best qsuality scooter I have used. It will give you good service over many years. It turms on a dime. Batteries included are very good. The charger is very efficient and will last for many years. A Rascal is the first cart I had in 2005 and now. It is the best all around scooter of all I have used in the past. I wish I would have stayed with this Brand and this scooter for all the years past. Try it you will like it.”

It runs smoothly, it’s very quiet, and the combination of size, weight, long‑range battery, and a comfortable seat makes it an excellent fit for my needs.I’ve been disabled for many years and have owned several mobility scooters. I currently have three. One is similar to the Rascal and is my go‑to for indoor use, doctor’s appointments, and shopping. Another is a larger model that I use around the neighborhood and on my lawn. The new Rascal fills the gap perfectly. The Rascal fits in my car, just like my Travel Pro, but the Rascal gets up to 10 miles on a full charge, which is about 4 miles more than the Travel Pro. That extra range makes it ideal for parks, zoos, and any place where I might be out longer.Like most lightweight scooters, neither the Rascal nor the Travel Pro handle thick grass very well, so keep that in mind. I also strongly recommend choosing the 3‑wheel version. The turning radius is much better, and it’s great for navigating tight spaces. I’ve only used 3‑wheel scooters over the years and have never had stability issues. The positive reviews I read before purchasing were spot‑on. My experience so far matches them completely. I have a Buick Cascada 2016 and i got the scooter in the trunk,but In the fall I’m not going to be able to put the top down with the scooter in it.I had to take it far more apart then 5 pieces just to get it in,had to remove handles from seat,lower seat tube,and remove the basket mounting two screws.That’s why I took a star away.I still believe it will come in handy on trips and if we take the wife’s SUV.I had to go back to 5 stars,this scooter is great,I haven’t been able to go inside Costco for 3 years,and it only took me 10 mins to put it together and 5 mins. to take apart.After we got home we did transfer it into my wife’s suv,but only because I want to put the top down when it cools off,and we take her suv on all trips anyway,and if I need it I can just take her car.Anyway I’m more than happy with the way this scooter performs and after an hour of riding around the battery was still fully charged.When we got home, all I needed to bring in the house is the battery pack to keep it charged.I attached pictures,It’s pretty quick, I only had it turned up half was and was buzzing around pretty good,and you can see I’m not a small guy.I did leave the handles off I see no real reason for them,and in Vegas when we rented a scooter i always left the handles up anyway.”

It has been on two Jetblue flights, taken apart several times to put into the trunk of my Prius (with ease) to attend New York Mets games and spent 10 days in Walt Disney World. While in Disney it never disappointed! I rode it up and down the bus ramps and monorails with ease and it was simple to parallel park into the designated parking area on each bus. We spent each day from park opening to park closing in Walt Disney World, most days “hopping” between 2 or 3 different parks and my battery never had less than 1/4 power remaining (which did not affect it\’s power at all). I would charge it overnight and it would be good to go the next morning at “rope drop”! I received several compliments from others on scooters who noticed how nicely it handled. Almost every bus driver stated that they “wished that all scooters maneuvered this easily”. I spent years renting from local vendors in the Orlando area or directly from Disney itself and buying my own was the smartest investment I have ever made. I only wish I had purchased it years sooner! I completely recommend this 3 wheel Drive Medical Scout Compact Travel Scooter.
