This helmet is a solid build helmet with upscaled padding and well designed interiors.The slope from the nape of the neck to the jaw has a natural curve and does not interfere with movement. I can turn my head to each side without any interference from the helmet.The shell is grey, not white like the photo.The helmet features a quick click snap strap for easy on and off wearing.I got a large and I’m glad I did. My head circumference is 22.6 inches but a medium would have been too small because of the deluxe padding which is about an inch thick on all sides around. Add that to my head of long hair and it would be too tight and uncomfortably snug, especially since I get headaches. Getting it past the padding is tight but once your head is in the capsule, it feels secure. I can fit a finger or two in the helmet but that’s about it. Enough to breath without feeling claustrophobic.I got this helmet to protect me when I ride my eBike. I sometimes ride on dirt trails but also concrete class 1 bike trails. Since I’m an elderly female, I wanted to be sure I was protected. Regular bike helmets don’t have face, chin, and cheek guarding, nor do they protect the fragile part of the back of the head. But this helmet does all that and more. It is also DOT, CPSC, and ASTM certified.The helmet does not have a visor. I can wear my glasses with it without it feeling pinched. I don’t like to wear visors or shades when I bike ride because I prefer a natural view and wide angle peripheral vision. This helmet allows that.It weighs more than your average bike helmet but it is still lightweight and doesn’t weigh like a motorcycle helmet. I figured it was better to be safe than sorry and this helmet will help set my mind at ease. With regards to my own safety, should things go awry in my bike ride.It comes with a black pull string helmet cover protector.My concern is the heat factor in wearing this helmet. I’ll update after I break this helmet in and let you know how it goes.”

The visor is probably the flimsiest piece but the rest of the helmet is solid and feels like it’s premium construction. It fits my face firmly and finally like I wish the previous two would. Tight on my cheeks but not too tight. Airflow is noticeable through the face mask over a more solid configuration I have. ILM makes good stuff usually for moto and bike needs so combined with the noticeably durable build quality here I think this is as safe as it gets in this price range. For comfort and safety it’s my new favorite. It’s valued a little less than I’d expect for this quality making it an excellent value. The included goggles are neutral and look slick when used with the helmet. Also good quality and fits my face well. It’s a great kit for an E-bike or BMX full face and I can recommend it.”

I think the vents are what he is most impressed with. And it is very lightweight. Came in a box with a branded carrying sack. Thought the package had been stolen off my porch, and when I reached out for help the company was very responsive and helpful. Turns out a neighbor had grabbed it for me.”

Customer Review: “As a road and light trail cyclist, I generally the felt standard bike helmets gave me the protection I needed. It’s not often that I fell or road so crazy that I considering needing more. However, when purchased a fat bike to cure the winter blues and started riding on more technical trails that often had snow, ice, and trees tight on trails. After threading the needle between two trees enough times- where you are between between small two climbs and there is ice at the trough- it became apparent how easy it would be to lose traction and face plant into a tree trunk.This helmet has been great.Pros:It fits my large head almost perfectly. Most of the time even the XL is too small for me. This is snug but over bearing.It looks cool. Some people can pull off the cycling helmet look. I cannot. I look like a major dweeb.It’s warm. I was surprised that riding in 7 degree weather here how much warmer it made my entire body. I can wear fewer layers and thus don’t overheat, and I now longer feel the need to wear a face mask for windburn, ear muffs, or anything else on my head.Ski googles fit over it perfectly around the outside of the helmet and on your face for those snowy days. Accommodates sunglasses nice also.It’s almost like a motor cycle helmet in terms of the level of protection it adds. Not quite as much over kill, but you feel like your face and head are very well protected.It looks like the liner comes out for cleaning, since you will sweat a bit with it on.The price was very reasonable. I have close to this and more for most of my bike helmets that aren’t nearly as durable or near the quality of this.Cons:The only con I can come up with so far is that it might feel oppressively hot in the warmer months. It does have some vents, I haven’t bothered to see if they are adjustable. And maybe you can remove some of the padding in liner also? I haven’t played around with it much because it’s out of the box it’s doing what I wanted for my purposes and much more.”
