Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “Excellent but isn’t the right sex plug for Euybike. Had to splice my old plug onto this sensor but works flawlessly otherwise on Euybike F6B”
Customer Review: “The Chazcool X0048H617D Cadence sensor fixed my Vivi M026TGB Folding Ebike Pedal Assist! My 2+ year old Vivi Folding Ebike needed a new chain after 2300 miles and lubrication of various cables and joints. Adding oil to the left Pedal Crank Hub may have killed my worn PAS (Pedal Assist Sensor). This unit (see photo) is pressed into the Hub and activates the ebike motor when you rotate the pedals forward. What Happened? The Sensor popped out of the hub and was too loose to stay put. After a dozen or so re-insertions, the Pedal Assist stopped working while the throttle start continued to function.Finding a replacement Cadence Sensor (PAS): A Vivi replacement was out of stock. Unfortunately, there are a large variety of Cadence Sensor types available on Amazon so one needs to compare the Vivi OEM part against the candidates with the following criteria:1- Cadense Sensor Type (Not Torque Sensor)2- Same Form Factor and Mount: Press fit into left Pedal Crank Hub (non Splined type)3- Same Connector 3 Pin Barrel Female4- 5V Vdd, 12 magnet type5- 2 Hall Effect sensors embeddedThe Chazcool X0048H617D Cadence sensor offered from Amazon seems to be a close fit.The Results:1. Documentation: None supplied (therefore only 4 stars!)2. Comparison to OEM original:a. Fits very snugly into Left Crank Hubb. Connector is the wrong gender. The original has a Female 3pin barrel connector which required splicing this in place of the Male. (Black-to-Black, Red-to-Red, and Blue-to-White wires.)c. Installation: Use a crank-puller to remove left Pedal/Crank. Remove Controller Cover and disconnect PAS connector. Pop off the PAS. Use the old Femal Connector and splice in place of the male on the new unit. Press the new unit onto the left crank hub. Connect cable to the Controller. Reinstall the Controller Cover and use cable ties to resecure the cables. Reinstall the Left Crank/Pedal assembly.d. Operation Test: Success! Rotating the pedal forward after installation started the motor.Additional Comments:1. Don’t lubricate the left pedal Crank shaft bearing (where the PAS is located)!a. The Oil may have caused the worn plastic mating parts to completely release resulting in the 12magnet rotor slipping as well as causing the sensor body to pop off the Left Crank Hub.b. The bike had over 2300 miles with the OEM sensor which translates to about 800,000 pedal revolutions. The old sender, cleaned of oil, fits quite loosely into the hub while the new replacement fits snugly. The Plastic Magnet Rotor and Shaft ring are not lubricated and appear obviously worn.”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “Ok let me start by saying this is the 3rd bike I have purchased for my son in the last 2 summers. I got him a Schwinn for his first bike and the part where the pedals connect to the bike fell apart after a few months of use. So I bought a bike at Walmart and that bike again fell apart the same way after a few months of regular use, not abuse. So for my son’s 6th birthday I researched on Amazon and read a lot of reviews and decided on this bike. I am so happy with this bike and my son loves it too. Let me explain. This bike is solidly built and feels very nice to handle. Set up was a breeze. The best part of this bike is the ease with my son learning to ride without the training wheels. We had him ride it like it suggests without the pedals on and after he was zooming around with the use of his legs, we popped on the pedals which is a super easy to put on and take off. After 2 days he was riding this bike without the training wheels and we are so proud. My son was so happy to be riding his bike like a big boy and can now ride with his big sister and keep up. I am so thoroughly impressed with the quality of this bike and the ease of learning to ride without training wheels. It’s worth the extra money to buy this bike versus the cheaper alternatives online. The bike is well built and should last a long time. Seats and handle bars are easy to adjust as your child grows too. The bike is super nice looking in person and certainly helps a child learn to ride without training wheels super quickly and successfully. I wish I had bought this bike the first time around as my son would surely had been off training wheels even sooner then 6 y/o. Don’t hestitate, this picky mom approves and I highly recommend this to other parents with kiddos who need a solid bike especially one for learning without the training wheels. We have had this bike for a month and my son uses it almost every day and it rides and looks just like it did when we first got it. Will update if anything changes since I rely on others reviews for making educated purchases on items.Update: We are now a little of 3 months of owning this bike and regular use. It is still holding up strong. Nothing has started to weaken or fail on us. The part where the pedals attach on to that moves the wheels with the pedal movement is still solid and sturdy. No signs of breakage like our other bikes did by this time. Still extremely happy with this bike and have recommended it to a few other parents who were happy to hear about this awesome bike. Hope this helps. 😊Update: This was our second summer with this bike. My son loves it and it still looks and rides great. I just am so happy buying bikes every couple months is no longer a trend i’m stuck in. This bike will certainly last until he has outgrown it. This has been a great purchase. It allowed my son to learn to ride without training wheel within days and has been a great bike almost daily use. Cannot go wrong with this one. Hope this helps you in making a decision if this bike is for you. I highly recommend to everyone with kids especially ones who want to get beyond training wheels.”

Pas top.Sinon le capteur fonctionne”
Complete Buying Guide for Electric Bike Without Pedals
Essential Factors We Consider
When evaluating electric bikes without pedals, we prioritize power output, battery longevity, build quality, and ease of use. Key considerations include motor wattage (higher watts mean faster speeds), battery voltage and range, frame durability, brake performance, and whether the model includes features like throttle-only operation or regenerative braking. Additionally, weight and portability matter—especially if you plan to carry or store the bike indoors.
Budget Planning
Prices for electric bikes without pedals vary widely. Entry-level models start around $300–$500, typically offering basic motors and shorter ranges. Mid-range options ($500–$1,000) provide better components and longer battery life. Premium bikes exceed $1,000 and often include advanced features like suspension, higher-capacity batteries, and smart connectivity. Always factor in potential shipping costs and assembly fees when budgeting.
Final Thoughts
Choosing the right electric bike without pedals depends on your specific needs—whether it’s commuting, recreation, or assisting mobility. Focus on reputable brands, read verified customer feedback, and consider warranties. Remember, even though these bikes don’t require pedaling, regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and safety over time.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Are electric bikes without pedals legal to ride on public roads?
A: Yes, most electric bikes without pedals are classified as Class 2 or Class 3 e-bikes in the U.S., meaning they’re allowed on public roads and bike paths, provided they meet local regulations regarding speed limits and licensing.
Q: How far can I go on a single charge?
A: Range varies by model, terrain, rider weight, and usage mode. Most pedal-free electric bikes offer between 15–30 miles per charge. Higher-wattage models or those with larger batteries can extend this significantly.
Q: Do I need to pedal at all?
A: No—electric bikes without pedals operate solely on throttle input. However, some hybrid models allow optional pedal assist; always check specifications before purchasing.
Q: Can I convert my existing electric bike to pedal-free?
A: In many cases, yes—but it requires removing the pedal assembly and possibly modifying the drivetrain or controller. Consult a professional mechanic to avoid damaging your bike.
Q: What maintenance do these bikes require?
