The box says like 12 or 14, but thats just a big responsible company covering their arses. Its a great learner, because its just twist and go. All hand brakes, no foot controls, which is good when learning because your feet arent always on the pegs. It’s a proportional bike for kids so its not awkward or clumsy it fits them right. Dont get any smaller razor dbike, they dont have suspension. This one is very much like a real bike, suspension, handling, disc brakes, etc. Electric, but power ramps up so you cant do a wheelie. Because its electric, it is a little heavy, but that keeps them from getting too much air as well. Hundreds of hours of fun, and zero injuries. If you crash in the grass, you weren’t going real fast, and are pretty close to the ground, so it dont hurt much. Rated up to like 175 pounds (again i recommend it for the 45-90 pound kid range) but ive hopped on it (210#) to put it away, and theres no problems. Batterys are standard lead-acid closed cell, so they are safe and reliable. The charge only lasts a half hour or so which is the only downside really.”

Customer Review: “The media could not be loaded. Amazing little dirtbike. Quality is better than expected. Honestly can’t believe they are selling this for only $900. Was extremely simple to assemble, basically put on the forks, handlebars. Takes longer to peel off the sticker protectors then to actually assemble the bike. Brakes work fantastic, easy to adjust, and I kind of like it being a cable for easier maintenance. The control knobs to be able to set the top speed, adjust the power, and adjust the response so easily. With the three knobs that are safely tucked away inside a little box makes it just about the safest thing possible. I actually had a little Yahama pw50 for the kids, but it was so heavy, hard to start, , dangerous with the exhaust pipe- and lots of maintenance- and couldn’t limit top speed, etc.. This little bike is way better and half the price- so much better for slightly ripping around the yard. I also like how the chain is very protected so it makes Accidents very unlikely. I’ve already ordered a second one so that my kids can ride together.”

If you search ‘Owen Westlund Mototec X2 110cc’ you should see it.I wanted to get my son a bike, normally i’d find something locally that needs work but we’ve got plenty of projects in the garage already and I didn’t need another. I also wanted a 4 stroke so he wouldn’t have to mix gas (or risk running straight gas through it!) and ideally wanted electric start. We ride ATVs together often, and now bikes. I didn’t want him to stall the bike or foul a plug on a hot day and have to kick it 20 times like the things i grew up on.It was packed very well, and arrived with zero damage or missing parts. That’s sometimes the hardest part about buying these types of things online: When the item weighs over 100 pounds it’s easy for it to get beat up in shipping.We put it together in no time, most of the components only go on one way. If you haven’t put a bike together before, just go slow and you’ll be fine.Throttle cable needed some adjustment, it was holding the bike at a higher RPM than it needed to be. Not a big deal, you’ll have that on most things like this.He’s got about 30 hours on it so far, we’ve driven bikes together quite a bit this summer and it always starts and hasn’t let us down at all! Customer Review: “We ordered and received the bike. After we put it together it ran for about an hour and then quit. Throttle cable and electric start was damaged during shipping. Called the seller and after several weeks of back and forth with no real support besides sending us a new cable. Seller sent me to the manufacturer who was HORRIBLE. They told us that because of the price of the bike, they would email us how to fix if possible but there was no way to have someone come look at the bike and repair. It was up to us to fix ourselves. They do not take phone calls so you have to email only! Do not buy this unless you want to fix it all on your own.”

Pretty cheap like the buttons for the music broke in one day, and the charger port it’s so hard to insert it in and I’m sure that’s why a lot of people says it stopped working. The charger itself is cheap as far as the cord.”
