Being over 40 now, I primarily use it to run around and grab a tool from the shed and back over to whatever project im working, on, go grab the mail, etc. but some days it is just fun to go ride. I did some rough testing and I’d say you’ll get about 45 minutes (at my weight anyway) per battery charge with the two 7.5 amp hour batteries. Which I think is still great and usually about the time I need to take a break. It has pretty decent shocks on it, I like the bulky type tire because it works perfect for my rough yard (new house with yard still work in progress) and its just super easy to hop on, turn the key, push the ready button and take off. Balance is the same as riding any other bike and best of all, so is the noise level which is zero lol. I love that probably the most, I can enjoy the woods, trails, etc even more because you can talk to each other while riding easily, stop and talk without powering off, just tons of benefits to having this little bike. Have had zero issue with it since I bought it about 6-7 months ago and its easy to maintain it looks like, basically just have to dust it a bit every now and then and spray the mud off and its good to go. The extra battery compartment in the middle by the way is super nice because you can actually get that FULL 45 minutes of riding in because you can go until your main two batteries die and then throw a spare one in there to get you back to the house. Super happy I got this, its well made and worth the money and if you have other EGO tools then the batteries that come with it at a discount are excellent to have as well.”

Customer Review: “This is a one year review.I ordered this for my teenager to get him to want to do more things outside. When I was a kid I had fourwheelers. I liked the idea that this was silent, easy to recharge and Dad could ride it too.Pros:-It zips! As someone who is 6′ 4″ I can ride it and it goes fast enough on our couple acre property and neighborhood.-Dead silent. No worries about annoying neighbors.-My son can recharge batteries and no buying gas. Also, it works with my other ego yard equipment. Batteries easily get him several rides between charges. They recharge pretty quick too. Have not felt like it’s a limiting factor.-Very well built. Brakes are legit hydraulic brakes that can stop it immediately. Everything is solid on it. Zero concerns about its longevity.- It has a speed limit switch under the seat. It was great to limit the speed until my son got experienced. I made him get 200 miles under his belt before we would consider turning it off. The handlebar also had a switch for 3 speed settings too. He tends to keep it on lowest or middle. The top setting easily hits 27 mph in our flat yard.Cons:-The screen is and LED but not backlight well. Hard to see in the daylight. That said it doesn’t really matter you can still see everything just not as easy. Not a big deal.- The tires are great for gravel and grassy yards. They aren’t the best if the ground is muddy or wet grass. Easy to lose traction and slip in those conditions. That said in those settings probably shouldn’t be out anyway.No issues with it and it’s been heavily used over last year.”

The flat bar is nice, but the grips slide around and needed to be swapped out (this is the only real negative about this bike, I’d take a quarter star off) The geometry is great for speed and hill climbing. The derailluers shift quickly, smoothly and accurately. They only required a little adjustment out of the box. The brakes do squeal, which is inherent on some disk brakes so Im not sure if the adjustment is off or its just the pads.It was very easy to assemble. Requires only a few basic tools. Adjustable wrench (or open-end wrenches), a set of good hex keys and a screwdriver is all I needed. I would have a local bike professional tune it up after assembly if you don’t know how to adjust the derailleur and brakes. However,YouTube has videos and it’s not hard once you get the hang of what everything adjusts for.I did need a gel cover for the seat or would definitely recommend riding shorts.I ride about 20 miles a day on this bike and overall am very happy with it!”

It conveniently ships within a few days.I am 5’9″ and I bought the 53 cm frame, which works great. I prefer the smaller size always, as it is lighter and easier to pack.The bike needs assembly, so if you are not familiar with bike mechanics, I still suggest to consider going to your local bike store and buying a bike from them, pre-assembled and tuned up. The assembly took me about 1-2 hours, I didn’t measure it. The breaks needed a bit of an adjustment, which is just tightening a screw, but the derailleurs needed a lot of tinkering. I was able to do all this myself from past experience and Youtube, but if you are a total beginner, you won’t be able to do this and your shifting will be noisy or even worse – throw the chains off your cogs. It is worth noting that the Shimano Claris R2000 group set is not supposed to be noisy or do such things, so if it doesn’t work for you, it likely needs adjustments.The bike comes with cheap tubes that popped after a few days, as I left the bike in the car on a hot summer day. Rookie mistake, it can happen to expensive bikes too. The tube also comes with Schroeder valves which are the same as cars, but I found it hard to inflate with a handheld pump. I had to take the bike to a gas station to inflate it to 80 PSI! not convenient.I replaced the front tube with a Continental tube ($15 for two) with a Presta valve which was easy enough to inflate at home with a small, handheld pump.To sum it up, as you see, the bike requires a good bit of assembly and adjustments.
